SpaceX recently raised $85.7 billion in an initial public offering (IPO), marking a significant event in the current IPO frenzy on Wall Street. Following this, Anthropic, known for its Claude large language models, filed for an IPO on June 1 and is reportedly approaching a trillion-dollar valuation in private markets.

Key investors in Anthropic include Alphabet, Amazon, and Zoom Communications. Alphabet invested $2.3 billion for a 14% stake in 2023, which could be worth approximately $135.1 billion at an estimated $965 billion valuation. Amazon’s initial investment of $8 billion is now valued at $74.2 billion, while Zoom’s earlier investment has swelled to nearly $1.3 billion.
