The wheat market is experiencing significant gains on Wednesday amid export concerns from the Black Sea region. Chicago SRW contracts increased by 35 to 36 cents, while KC HRW futures rose by 41 to 43 cents after hitting the 45-cent limit. MPLS spring wheat prices also saw a rise of 25 to 28 cents, demonstrating a robust day for grain futures.

Export restrictions from Russia through the Kerch Strait have contributed to these price increases, following retaliatory strikes on port locations in Odesa, Ukraine. Additionally, Taiwan importers secured a notable total of 98,150 metric tons of wheat from the U.S. overnight.

As of September 26, CBOT wheat prices stood at $6.80 1/4 (up 35 1/4 cents) for Sep contracts and $6.94 3/4 (up 35 cents) for Dec contracts. KC futures were at $7.21 (up 43 cents) for Sep and $7.34 (up 41 1/2 cents) for Dec.
