On Friday, September arabica coffee (KCU26) closed at $335.30, up 2.80% (+$9.05), while September ICE robusta coffee (RMU26) finished at $433.70, up 0.05% (+$2). Concerns about Brazil’s coffee harvest are intensifying due to heavy rainfall; 32.4 mm of rain (2700% of the historical average) was reported in Minas Gerais during the week ending July 26. The harvest among Cooxupe co-op members was only 58.3% complete as of July 24, significantly lagging behind last year’s pace of 67%.

In contrast, ICE robusta inventories climbed to a 4.25-month high of 4,254 lots last Wednesday, although they slightly decreased to 4,148 lots by today. Meanwhile, Vietnam’s coffee exports surged, with a reported 7.3% year-over-year increase in 2026 exports to 1.05 million metric tons.
