Today, McDonald’s Corp (MCD) reported significant trading activity with a total volume of 35,826 contracts, equating to approximately 3.6 million underlying shares. This figure represents 81% of the company’s average daily trading volume over the past month, which is 4.4 million shares. Notably, high trading volume was recorded for the $280 strike call option expiring on August 7, 2026, with 3,063 contracts traded.

UnitedHealth Group Inc (UNH) also saw substantial options trading, reaching 34,560 contracts, approximately 3.5 million underlying shares, or 62.9% of its average daily trading volume of 5.5 million shares. The $390 strike put option expiring on August 21, 2026, experienced significant activity with 1,396 contracts traded.

In addition, Williams Cos Inc (WMB) reported 40,039 contracts traded, representing around 4.0 million underlying shares, which accounts for 61.4% of its average daily trading volume of 6.5 million shares. The $64 strike put option, expiring on September 11, 2026, showed particularly high volume with 16,889 contracts traded.
