The improved profitability in CVS’s insurance business was highlighted by a decrease in the medical benefit ratio to 87.4%. Eli Lilly (LLY) recorded Q2 adjusted earnings of $8.38 per share, surpassing estimates of $6.01 by $2.37. Revenue soared 48% year-over-year to approximately $23 billion, fueled by strong sales of its diabetes and obesity products, including Mounjaro’s $9.94 billion and Zepbound’s $4.93 billion in sales. The full-year revenue guidance was increased to $85 billion-$87 billion.
