The iShares Global Consumer Staples ETF (KXI) experienced unusually high trading volume on Tuesday, with over 305,000 shares exchanged, significantly above its three-month average of approximately 77,000 shares. As of the afternoon session, KXI’s shares were down about 0.5%.
Among its components, Ambev led in trading volume with over 7.9 million shares traded, decreasing by approximately 2.2%. Kenvue followed closely with over 7.3 million shares traded, slipping about 0.3%. Conversely, General Mills was the top performer, rising by about 0.9% on the same day.
