Highlights from Tuesday’s Option Activity: TRNS, CAVA, QGEN

Among the components of the Russell 3000 index, Transcat Inc (TRNS) recorded significant options trading today, with 1,479 contracts exchanging hands, equating to approximately 147,900 shares, or 105.5% of its average daily volume of 140,150 shares. Notably, the $105 strike call option expiring on August 21, 2026, saw 1,450 contracts traded, representing about 145,000 underlying shares.

CAVA Group Inc (CAVA) experienced option trades totaling 34,512 contracts, amounting to around 3.5 million shares, which matches 100% of its average daily trading volume. The highlight was the $50 strike put option, with 6,040 contracts traded, representing approximately 604,000 underlying shares.

Qiagen NV (QGEN) also saw options trading volume of 21,543 contracts, or about 2.2 million shares, making up approximately 88% of its average daily volume. A substantial trading event occurred for the $45 strike call option, with 20,449 contracts representing around 2.0 million underlying shares.
