Cisco Systems (CSCO) is scheduled to release its fiscal fourth-quarter results after the market closes on Wednesday, August 12. The company has experienced a significant stock surge of nearly 60% year to date, approaching a 52-week high of $130 per share. Analysts expect fourth-quarter sales to reach approximately $16.85 billion, a nearly 15% increase from the previous year, with reported earnings anticipated to grow 18% to $1.17 per share.

For its third fiscal quarter, Cisco reported record revenues of $15.8 billion, up 12% year-over-year, and non-GAAP earnings of $1.06 per share. Total product orders rose by 35% YoY, with networking product orders increasing more than 50%. The company has raised its full-year revenue forecast to $62.8-$63 billion and updated its AI infrastructure order expectations to $9 billion, reflecting strong demand in the sector.

With a current price-to-earnings ratio around 30X and solid cash generation, including $2.9 billion returned to shareholders in Q3, Cisco is positioned favorably as it enters earnings season.
