Nvidia’s Market Surge and Revenue Predictions

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has seen its shares rise over 12% since early August, boosting its market capitalization to $5.5 trillion, just 4% shy of its all-time high. CEO Jensen Huang has been a driving force behind this momentum, reaffirming predictions of significant growth in AI infrastructure spending.

At Nvidia’s GTC conference in March, Huang forecasted at least $1 trillion in revenue from AI chip platforms through 2027, doubling previous estimates. Recently, he brokered partnerships with major financial firms like Goldman Sachs, KKR, and BlackRock to secure over $500 billion in external capital for AI compute infrastructure.

Despite projecting revenues of approximately $91 billion for fiscal Q2, Nvidia may fall short of the $500 billion mark this fiscal year, though it is expected to exceed that threshold next year, with a target of $1 trillion in annual revenue on the horizon.
