Netflix Shares Decline

Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) shares have fallen 42% from their all-time high, hitting a low earlier this week as concerns over slowing revenue growth and acquisition challenges mount. Following an 18% revenue growth last holiday quarter, subsequent growth rates dropped to 16% and 13%, with an anticipated 11.7% increase for the current quarter, marking the weakest performance in nearly three years.

The company’s tumultuous trading history includes significant sell-offs in 2011 and 2021, during which shares plummeted 83% and 77% respectively before rebounding. Currently, Netflix trades at just over 20 times next year’s earnings estimates, suggesting it may be undervalued compared to historical standards.
