Two leading stocks, Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) and Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), have shown recent signs of improvement in their Relative Strength Index (RSI), suggesting potential value opportunities for investors. Meta’s RSI rose to 48 from a prior low of 31 on July 30, while Tesla’s has climbed from a low of 25 to 47 following a disappointing Q2 earnings report on July 29.
Meta reported Q2 revenue of $60.8 billion, exceeding expectations, demonstrating a 28% year-over-year increase despite a missed EPS forecast. Its shares have seen a 20% decline from their year-to-date high. Meanwhile, Tesla’s Q2 revenue was $28.24 billion, surpassing analyst forecasts despite an EPS miss of 33 cents, leading to a 25% year-to-date loss in its shares.
Despite current challenges, both companies are projected to experience earnings growth in the near future, with Meta expected to rise from $28.50 to $34.47 per share (21% growth) and Tesla forecasted to grow from 88 cents to $1.38 per share (57% growth).
