OSI Systems, Inc. (OSIS) reported adjusted earnings of $3.78 per share for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, a 16.7% increase from the previous year, exceeding Zacks’ consensus estimate by 0.53%. Total revenues decreased by 4.1% to $484.06 million, falling short of the consensus forecast by 8.38%, primarily due to approximately $50 million in planned security deliveries being delayed due to conflicts in the Middle East.

Security revenues were down 7.4% year over year at $339.73 million, influenced by the delayed deliveries and a tough comparison against previous revenues from Mexico contracts. Despite this, the backlog reached a record $1.90 billion. For fiscal 2027, OSIS anticipates revenues between $1.875 billion and $1.930 billion, equating to a growth rate of 5.0% to 8.1%, with projected adjusted earnings between $11.13 and $11.49 per share.

As of June 30, 2026, the company had cash and equivalents of $359.83 million and long-term debt of approximately $998.52 million, up from $463.50 million a year earlier. OSIS also repurchased 564,880 shares for $123.6 million during the quarter.
