Microsoft reported a record revenue of $331.8 billion for its fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, marking an 18% year-over-year increase. The company achieved $155.2 billion in operating income and a net income of $133.7 billion, with profits rising by 21% and 31% respectively. Notably, Microsoft’s Azure cloud services reached $100 billion in revenue for the first time, contributing to a total cloud revenue of $214 billion, up 27% year-over-year.

In addition to its strong financial performance, Microsoft continued to invest heavily in artificial intelligence, spending $41 billion in the latest quarter—an increase of 70% year-over-year. The company’s backlog grew by 84% to $678 billion, indicating robust demand for its services and products across various sectors.
