Nvidia’s Upcoming Earnings Report

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) will release its fiscal second-quarter operating results after the market closes on August 26, 2023. The company, known for its graphics processing units (GPUs) essential in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector, is projected to report sales growth of 97%, reaching approximately $92 billion.

Historically, Nvidia has consistently exceeded Wall Street earnings estimates, achieving 10 earnings-per-share beats in the last 11 quarters. However, the company’s shares have declined on the trading day after earnings reports in six of the last eight quarters, raising concerns about investor overexcitement and potential post-report pullbacks.
