NVIDIA announced a fiscal 2027 revenue forecast of $108 billion, reflecting a 106% year-over-year growth in its second-quarter revenues. The data center segment alone saw a 117% increase, highlighting the company’s investment in accelerated computing and its relevance to the quantum computing sector. This forecast coincides with an expected $730 billion expenditure on AI infrastructure from major tech companies such as Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft, and Meta by 2026, as reported by Reuters.

Investment in quantum technology startups reached $12.6 billion in 2025, a 6.3 times increase from the previous year, with 90% directed towards quantum-computing companies, according to McKinsey. Additionally, the White House’s June 2023 executive order aims to speed up the development of commercial quantum applications.

Two quantum stocks, Quantinuum (QNT) and Quantum Computing Inc. (QUBT), are highlighted for their potential synergy with NVIDIA’s technologies. Quantinuum reported a 279% increase in second-quarter revenues and holds $2.1 billion in cash, while QUBT’s revenues rose from $61,000 to $5.6 million, with $1.3 billion in cash and investments as of June.
