David Tepper’s AI-Focused Investment Moves
Billionaire investor David Tepper, founder of Appaloosa Management, has revealed significant changes in his Q2 2026 Form 13F filing. Tepper oversees over $7.7 billion in assets and has directed approximately 77% of his portfolio towards artificial intelligence (AI) stocks, prominently featuring Nvidia, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, and Amazon. Notably, he divested all shares of SanDisk, a stock that surged over 3,000% in the last year.
The quarterly filing shows that Tepper now holds only 27 stocks, with Amazon constituting 15.4%, Micron Technology 14.6%, and Taiwan Semiconductor 10.2% of his portfolio. He appears to have sold SanDisk to realize profits, benefiting from its unprecedented rise but also considering the cyclical nature of memory and storage industries.
