Nvidia Reports Strong Fiscal Q2 Results
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) announced its fiscal Q2 results on August 26, revealing a 106% year-over-year revenue increase to $96.2 billion and a non-GAAP earnings per share of $2.22, surpassing analysts’ expectations of $2.09. Following the announcement, Nvidia’s stock surged nearly 9% the next day.
Looking ahead, CFO Colette Kress projected a 70% revenue growth for fiscal 2028, significantly higher than analysts’ expectations of 44%. The company’s revenue forecast for the current quarter stands at $108 billion, indicating a potential 89% increase year-over-year. Analysts have begun to revise their growth expectations, with Nvidia’s ongoing supply chain enhancements expected to further bolster performance.
Additionally, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) has notably increased its 2026 capital expenditure to $62 billion, contributing to a robust environment for AI infrastructure investments, which Nvidia aims to capitalize on.
