Nvidia’s Financial Surge and Future Growth Outlook
Chipmaker Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has reported a significant financial turnaround, seeing a 1,490% increase in revenue and a 4,120% jump in net income since early 2023, primarily driven by its GPUs’ dominance in AI and data centers. Nvidia’s market cap has reached approximately $5.33 trillion, making it the world’s largest public company.
CEO Jensen Huang recently provided Nvidia’s first full-year forecast, projecting a revenue growth of 70% by 2028, exceeding Wall Street’s consensus of 44% growth. If these projections hold, Nvidia’s revenue could approach $700 billion, with estimated profits reaching $447 billion at a profit margin of 64%. Furthermore, industry consultants predict a $7 trillion total spending on data centers by 2030, with Nvidia holding an 80% to 90% market share in AI accelerators.
Nvidia’s current price-to-earnings ratio is approximately 28, which could see its stock price rise to $519 by the end of 2028 if growth continues as forecasted, potentially boosting its market cap to $12.5 trillion.
