As of February, Bezos owns 950.4 million shares—8.8% of Amazon’s outstanding shares—valued at approximately $245.7 billion. His total net worth is estimated at $280 billion. Meanwhile, Amazon’s second-quarter sales reached $200.6 billion, marking a 20% year-over-year increase, with operating income rising 43% to $27.5 billion.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) significantly contributed to this growth, reporting a 36.8% year-over-year gain in sales to $42.2 billion, accounting for 60.5% of the company’s operating income.
