Trump’s Brokerage Accounts Sell Shares in AI Companies
In June, President Trump’s brokerage accounts, managed by third-party financial institutions, executed 1,051 trades, including significant sales of shares in Palantir Technologies and Meta Platforms. Trump’s accounts sold between $414,000 to $785,000 worth of Palantir shares and between $687,000 to $4.2 million worth of Meta shares.
Palantir reported a remarkable 93% revenue increase to $1.9 billion, and Meta saw a 28% rise in revenue to $60.8 billion, despite a net income drop of 13% to $6.18 per diluted share due to severance and legal expenses. Analysts believe both companies are currently undervalued, with Palantir’s share price at $170 reflecting a potential 20% upside and Meta’s at $613, indicating a 21% upside based on median target prices.
