CoreWeave, Inc. (CRWV) has launched a new offering called Physical AI Field Engineering, aimed at helping automotive, aerospace, and robotics teams integrate AI into their engineering processes. This service builds on the company’s expertise from over 100 engineering projects and supports AI adoption by transforming industrial data into actionable insights.
The company provides the necessary GPU, storage, and simulation infrastructure to solve engineering challenges and is focused on delivering operational AI applications directly within customers’ workflows. CoreWeave’s shares have risen 24.4% year-to-date, contrasting with a 0.6% decline in the Internet Software industry.
Despite this success, CoreWeave faces increasing competition from major players like Microsoft, which is rapidly expanding its Azure cloud infrastructure and integrating AI capabilities. Microsoft and other specialized firms like Nebius Group N.V. (NBIS) are vying for market share in the burgeoning AI infrastructure sector.
