Tonix Pharmaceuticals Focuses on TONMYA Expansion with Upcoming Lyme Disease Prevention Study

Tonix Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:TNXP) announced its focus on the commercial launch of TONMYA, its FDA-approved fibromyalgia treatment, during the Cantor Healthcare Conference on October 2, 2023. In Q2 2026, TONMYA generated $11 million in net sales, up from $3.7 million in Q1, indicating a threefold increase. The company expanded its sales force to 150 representatives and secured contracts with two of the three major pharmacy benefit managers and one major managed Medicare organization, which is expected to begin in January 2027.

Tonix plans to conduct a Phase II study for TNX-4800, a long-acting monoclonal antibody aimed at preventing Lyme disease, starting in early 2024. The trial will enroll 3,300 participants and span two Lyme seasons, aimed at increasing event rates within demographics at higher risk for Lyme disease. The company currently has $176 million in cash and no debt, which is projected to support operations through Q2 2027.
