Potential Merger Between SpaceX and Tesla
Elon Musk hinted at a possible merger between SpaceX and Tesla during a recent interview on the All In Podcast, noting the advantages of increased collaboration between his companies. Although he did not confirm immediate plans for a merger, he emphasized the synergies that could be realized through closer integration.
Currently, SpaceX and Tesla boast combined valuations of approximately $3.5 trillion, with SpaceX remaining unprofitable and Tesla trading at around 340 times its trailing earnings. Analyst Dan Ives has predicted that a merger could occur as early as next year, though concerns exist regarding the potential for significant returns given the high valuation of both companies.
