Arm Holdings (ARM) shares surged nearly 40% in September, driven by increased demand for CPUs as AI technologies gain traction. The company reported record revenue of $1.3 billion for the latest quarter, marking a 22% year-over-year increase, while data center royalties more than doubled.
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) also saw significant growth, with shares surpassing a $1 trillion market cap for the first time. Its data center sales reached $6.7 billion, reflecting a 107% year-over-year growth. The company anticipates continued acceleration in data center sales through 2026.

However, the company’s plans to raise capital through stock and debt sales due to high buildout costs have dampened investor sentiment, keeping shares up only about 3% in September.
