Fluence Energy, Inc. (FLNC) has secured a multi-year master supply agreement with EVE Power, a global lithium battery manufacturer, to enhance its energy storage systems. This partnership will enable Fluence to receive advanced battery cells to bolster supply chain resilience and cater to increasing customer demands.
The agreement is part of Fluence’s global supply strategy aimed at securing high-quality battery components and improving operational flexibility. This collaboration is anticipated to strengthen Fluence’s battery supply network, enhance scalability, and improve visibility into supply availability and costs.
In another notable development, Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) announced in March a collaboration with LG Energy Solution to purchase $4.3 billion worth of lithium iron phosphate battery cells, set to begin production in 2027 at its Lansing, MI, factory. This partnership aims to reduce Tesla’s dependence on imported batteries and improve cost efficiency in its energy storage products.
