DigitalOcean, listed on the NYSE as DOCN, have made a groundbreaking announcement that its Paperspace platform is set to virtually integrate Nvidia’s H100 GPUs, listed on the NASDAQ as NVDA. This development aims to arm small businesses and startups with the essential tools required for developing artificial intelligence applications.
Through the Paperspace cloud platform, customers can now access Nvidia’s H100 GPU as individual machines or as clusters, for a specific term limit or on-demand. This opens up a world of computational capabilities for a wide range of innovative businesses that utilize the Paperspace platform.
“While many vendors are optimizing their offerings to serve large enterprises, DigitalOcean is proud to offer [small and medium-sized businesses] and startups with reliable and flexible access to H100s,” highlighted Kanishka Roychoudhury, General Manager at DigitalOcean.
Nvidia’s H100 GPU is engineered for the most demanding computing workloads, such as large-scale model training and AI inference, performing at speeds up to 30 times faster than previous generations. This leap in speed unleashes new possibilities for businesses in terms of innovation and development.
Notably, these H100 GPUs can significantly reduce training interaction periods and model inference response times, advancing the efficiency of AI-related processes. Furthermore, by offering this platform virtually, DigitalOcean has dynamically lowered the cost to access this state-of-the-art technology, marking a pivotal shift in the landscape of developing, deploying, and scaling AI models.
“DigitalOcean remains committed to providing solutions that offer superior performance and keep costs in check, lowering the barriers of entry for smaller businesses looking to leverage AI to improve profitability and efficiency,” added Roychoudhury.
