Shares of Netflix, Inc. NFLX surged in pre-market trading following the company’s strong fourth-quarter earnings report.

Netflix reported fourth-quarter revenue of $8.83 billion, marking a 12.5% year-over-year increase, surpassing analysts’ expectations. The company’s fourth-quarter earnings per share stood at $2.11, slightly below the Street’s estimate of $2.21.

Remarkably, the streaming giant added 13.12 million net paid subscribers in the fourth quarter.

As a result, Netflix shares soared by 10.2% to $542.48 in pre-market trading.

In addition to Netflix, several other stocks experienced significant movement in pre-market trading.

  • Getaround, Inc. GETR surged 50.7% to $0.2771, following the announcement of a new debt facility.

  • Sonoma Pharmaceuticals, Inc. SNOA dropped 8% to $0.1574 after announcing the launch of Lumacyn Clarifying Mist direct to consumers for over-the-counter use in the US.
  • Opthea Limited OPT saw a 7.9% decline to $2.44.
  • HWH International Inc. HWH shares suffered a 7.3% decline to $1.78, following a more than 23% gain on Tuesday.
