Adient Reports Strong Q1 Earnings and Year-Over-Year Revenue Growth

Adient (ADNT) reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of 35 cents for the first quarter of fiscal 2026, up from 27 cents year-over-year and surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 20 cents. The company achieved net sales of $3.64 billion, a 4.3% increase compared to the previous year, outperforming the estimate of $3.48 billion.

In segment performance, Adient’s Americas segment recorded revenues of $1.64 billion, growing 1.9% year-over-year; EMEA revenues reached $1.21 billion, a 6.7% increase; and the Asia segment generated $819 million, up from $772 million in fiscal 2025. Total adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was strong across segments, reflecting enhanced operational efficiencies and favorable material margins.

Adient projects fiscal 2026 revenues to reach $14.6 billion, an increase from the earlier estimate of $14.4 billion, with adjusted EBITDA expected at $880 million, up from $845 million. Free cash flow is now anticipated to be $125 million, revised from $90 million.
