ADP Stock Surges 33% in Half a Year: Key Insights and Analysis

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) has seen its stock rise by 33.4% over the past six months, surpassing the industry’s 30.3% gain and the S&P 500 Composite’s 19.1% advance. The company’s Employer Services (ES) business bookings increased 6% year-over-year to $2.2 billion by the end of fiscal 2026.

In fiscal 2026, ADP launched AI-driven tools like ADP Assist and the Zone, which contributed to improved operational efficiencies. ADP reported 3.1 million unique active users engaging in 12 million conversations via ADP Assist. Looking forward, the company anticipates a 4-7% growth in ES business bookings for fiscal 2027, buoyed by continuing investment in AI tools.

ADP’s Lyric platform saw a 94% year-over-year increase in live clients, with new business opportunities up 50% year-over-year. The company has also recently closed deals with clients in France and the UK during fiscal 2026’s fourth quarter.
