AMCON Distributing Company (DIT) reported a fiscal second-quarter loss of $2.34 per share for the period ending March 31, 2026, widening from a loss of $1.72 per share in the same quarter last year. Total sales increased to $715.7 million, up 15.5% from $619.5 million a year earlier, though the net loss available to common shareholders also grew to $2.2 million from $1.6 million.
The company’s wholesale distribution segment generated $703.9 million in revenue with an operating income of $2.2 million, while costs surged, impacting profitability. AMCON’s shareholders’ equity stood at $112.4 million as of March 31, 2026, and it achieved positive cash flow from operating activities of approximately $2 million for the first half of the year.
