Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) introduced the Ryzen PRO 9000 Series processors for workstations, set to launch in the second half of 2026. These new processors, featuring AMD 3D V-Cache technology, aim to enhance performance for complex tasks and support a range of applications, including data analysis and content creation. The lineup will offer configurations with 6 to 16 cores and power ratings between 65 watts and 170 watts.

For Q2 2026, AMD anticipates revenues of approximately $11.2 billion, reflecting a 46% year-over-year increase, primarily driven by growth in its Data Center segment. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for earnings per share is projected at $1.60, indicating a 233% rise compared to the same quarter last year. Competitors include NVIDIA and Intel, with AMD facing increased pressure in the gaming GPU market.
