Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN) reported a 10% rise in total revenue to over $10 billion for Q2 2023, driven by a 26% increase in sales from its six key growth products, which account for nearly 70% of total product sales. Chief Financial Officer Thomas Dittrich emphasized a focus on execution and growth, as the company now has a broader portfolio than ever before.

The Phase III DeLLphi-305 study of IMDELLTRA in small cell lung cancer showed significant improvements in overall survival and progression-free survival compared to durvalumab alone, with a U.S. addressable patient population of approximately 28,000. Additionally, TEZSPIRE’s recent Phase III results in eosinophilic esophagitis indicate the condition affects over 470,000 people in the U.S.

Key growth drivers included Repatha, which grew 37% year-over-year, and UPLIZNA, which saw a 90% increase. Amgen is advancing multiple Phase III programs, including those for MariTide and dasotralimab, while aiming for a 45% to 46% non-GAAP operating margin this year.
