In Q3 2025, AngloGold Ashanti reported a 17% year-over-year increase in gold production, totaling 768,000 ounces, largely due to contributions from the Sukari mine. Gold revenues surged 61.9% to $2.37 billion, with earnings per share rising 136% to $1.32. The company generated a record $920 million in free cash flow and ended the quarter with $3.9 billion in liquidity.
Year-to-date, gold prices have climbed 71% to near $4,462 per ounce, driven by geopolitical tensions and central bank purchases. For 2025, AngloGold Ashanti projects gold production between 2.9-3.225 million ounces, indicating a potential year-over-year growth of 9-21%.
