Apple Launches New iPhone 17e
Apple has introduced its new iPhone 17e, an entry-level smartphone priced at $599, aimed at expanding its market reach. The announcement came on Monday, with pre-orders set to begin on March 4 and in-store availability starting March 11.
In its latest fiscal quarter ending December 27, 2025, Apple reported iPhone revenue of $85.3 billion, constituting nearly 60% of its total revenue of $143.8 billion. The new iPhone 17e offers 256GB of storage at the same starting price as the previous budget model, enhancing Apple’s competitive edge in the smartphone market.
Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, noted that iPhone demand has reached unprecedented levels, contributing to significant growth expectations. The company aims for 13% to 16% revenue growth in fiscal Q2, although supply constraints may impact availability despite high demand.
