Arm Holdings Enters Data Center CPU Market
Arm Holdings (NASDAQ: ARM) announced its entry into the data center CPU market, projecting total revenues of $25 billion by 2031, with $15 billion from its new CPUs. This initiative comes as the company anticipates a fourfold growth in the CPU market, attributed to the rise of agentic AI, reaching an estimated $100 billion overall.
In response to increasing demand, Arm is targeting a 15% market share. Meanwhile, competitors such as Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) and Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) are also poised for growth. AMD has raised prices amidst supply constraints, while Intel’s data center and AI segments have shown solid growth, indicating a favorable environment for all three companies.
