Pershing Square’s Investment Strategy
Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square Capital Management hedge fund holds a concentrated portfolio of just 12 stocks, with a substantial 39% focused on artificial intelligence (AI). Notably, Ackman increased his investment in Amazon by 65% in the fourth quarter of 2025, raising his stake in the company, which dominates e-commerce and cloud services through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Ackman also initiated a substantial position in Meta Platforms, purchasing 2.7 million shares valued at $1.8 billion. This investment represents 11.4% of Pershing Square’s total holdings, as Ackman believes Meta’s current share price undervalues its long-term AI potential. Meta’s extensive user base of 3.58 billion daily active users positions it favorably for advertising revenue growth through effective monetization.
