Chase Coleman’s Alternative Magnificent Seven Portfolio

Billionaire hedge fund manager Chase Coleman has introduced a new “Magnificent Seven” stock portfolio, focusing on companies poised for significant growth in the artificial intelligence sector. This portfolio includes Microsoft (10.5% of assets), Alphabet (8%), Amazon (7.5%), Nvidia (6.8%), Meta Platforms (6.4%), Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (4%), and Broadcom (3%), together comprising 46.2% of his holdings.

Notably absent from Coleman’s selection are Apple and Tesla. Apple’s lack of focus on AI innovations and reliance on past successes have led to its exclusion, while Tesla faces challenges in a cooling electric vehicle market, despite its AI initiatives. In contrast, companies like Taiwan Semiconductor and Broadcom are well-positioned in the AI market, with Taiwan Semiconductor boasting a market cap of $1.5 trillion as one of the largest chip manufacturers globally.
