Bulls Propel Beans Upward on Tuesday

On Tuesday, soybean prices rose 10 to 11 cents in the front months, with the cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price increasing by 14.5 cents to $12.60. Soymeal futures surged by $6.30 to $9.90, while Soy Oil experienced mixed movements, gaining 9 to 23 points in the front months but declining 2 to 28 points in the deferreds. Harvest activities may be impacted due to expected rainfall of over 1-3 inches across eastern Nebraska and South Dakota into Minnesota, Iowa, northern Missouri, and the Eastern Corn Belt.

According to NOPA data released this morning, a total of 205.46 million bushels of soybeans were crushed among members in August, missing the estimate of 211.55 million bushels, but representing an 8.24% increase from last year, although 5.17% below the same week last year. Additionally, soybean oil stocks were reported at 1.201 billion pounds, a 3.5% decrease from the previous year.

In Brazil, the CONAB has estimated the soybean crop for the current season at 180.4 million metric tons, down 0.06 million metric tons from last month, with the first 2026/27 crop estimate at 181.64 million metric tons. The USDA’s projection for the same period is at 186 million metric tons.
