Can Agentforce Propel Salesforce to the Forefront of Enterprise AI?

Salesforce, Inc. reported impressive growth for its artificial intelligence platform, Agentforce, with annual recurring revenues (ARR) reaching $1.2 billion in the first quarter of fiscal 2027, marking a 205% year-over-year increase. Combined ARR for Agentforce and Data 360 stood at $3.4 billion, more than doubling from the previous year, as Salesforce processed 28.6 trillion AI tokens, a 152% increase sequentially.

Total revenues for Salesforce in the quarter were $11.13 billion, up 13% year-over-year, while the company’s Remaining Performance Obligation rose 14% to $33.6 billion. Salesforce also raised its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to a range of $45.9 billion to $46.2 billion, reflecting a strong outlook amid heightened competition from major rivals like Microsoft and Oracle.

Looking forward, Salesforce aims to leverage its large installed customer base, with over 50% of Agentforce and Data 360 bookings in Q1 coming from existing customers, as it seeks to enhance customer engagement through AI integration with CRM data.
