Cash trade reported dressed prices at $348-355 and live sales at $222-223. The Fed Cattle Exchange auction saw no sales from 1,696 head offered.
USDA data indicated export sales of 9,397 MT of beef for 2026 and 60 MT for 2027, with shipments reaching a five-week high of 12,099 MT. Wholesale boxed beef prices fell, with Choice boxes at $376.12, down $1.19, and Select at $352.10, down $0.24. Estimated federally inspected cattle slaughter on Thursday was 90,000 head, bringing the weekly total to 389,000, which is 31,000 head below the previous week and 77,607 head below the same week last year.
