Cisco Systems reported a 15% year-over-year increase in networking revenues for Q1 fiscal 2026, totaling $7.77 billion. This growth is attributed to strong demand for AI infrastructure and campus networking solutions, with AI infrastructure orders from hyperscalers reaching $1.3 billion. Cisco anticipates $3 billion in AI infrastructure revenues for fiscal 2026.

Moreover, Cisco’s pipeline includes over $2 billion in orders for high-performance networking products across various sectors. The integration of Cisco Nexus switches with NVIDIA’s Spectrum-X architecture is expected to enhance enterprise AI orders. Cisco’s N9100 switch release is planned for the second half of fiscal 2026, further solidifying its position among sovereign and neocloud providers.

Despite strong performance, Cisco faces competition from Arista Networks and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, which are advancing in high-performance networking and AI-focused markets. Cisco shares have seen a 30.3% increase over the past year, surpassing the broader sector return of 22.6%.
