Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTSH) has completed its acquisition of 3Cloud, a prominent Microsoft Azure services provider. This acquisition, announced earlier, enhances Cognizant’s Azure, data, and AI capabilities, significantly expanding its workforce with over 1,000 Azure experts and engineers, as well as more than 1,500 Microsoft certifications. The 3Cloud team adds to Cognizant’s existing base of around 20,000 Azure-certified associates.
The acquisition bolsters Cognizant’s portfolio across various sectors, including banking, healthcare, and technology. Since 2020, 3Cloud has experienced a 20% organic CAGR, with expectations to maintain similar growth leading into 2025, fueled by increasing demand for Azure-driven solutions. Cognizant projects fourth-quarter revenues for 2025 between $5.27 billion and $5.33 billion, indicating growth of 3.8-4.8% year-over-year, while the total expected revenue for 2025 ranges from $21.05 billion to $21.10 billion, reflecting a year-over-year increase of 6.6-6.9%.
