Coherent Corp. (COHR) reported fourth-quarter revenues of $1.62 billion for fiscal 2026, an increase from $1.36 billion in the prior quarter and $1.02 billion a year earlier. This marks a sequential increase of approximately $253 million and a year-over-year gain of nearly $600 million. Datacenter and communications sectors accounted for nearly 79% of this revenue, up from 67% in the same quarter last year.
The company’s total revenues for the fourth quarter reached $2.05 billion, compared to $1.81 billion in the third quarter of fiscal 2026 and $1.53 billion a year prior. Datacenter and communications revenue grew consistently over five quarters, rising from $1.02 billion to $1.62 billion, while industrial revenues declined from $511 million to $431 million during the same period, highlighting a significant shift towards datacenter-led growth.
In comparison, Lumentum Holdings reported a 109% increase in fourth-quarter revenues to $1.01 billion, while Fabrinet saw a 45% growth to $1.32 billion, underscoring a trend of substantial growth in the optical market amid rising AI demand.
