Palantir and Amazon See Strong Growth Amid Market Challenges
In Q4 2025, Palantir (NASDAQ: PLTR) reported a revenue increase of 70% year-over-year, reaching a significant $1.532 billion to $1.536 billion in revenue guidance for Q1 2026, suggesting a growth rate of about 74%. The company’s net income surged over 250% to $1.625 billion. However, Palantir’s market capitalization is over $360 billion, trading at approximately 240 times its trailing 12-month earnings, raising concerns about future growth sustainability.
Meanwhile, Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) achieved a 14% rise in net sales to around $213 billion in Q4 2025, with its cloud computing segment, AWS, growing 24% to $35.6 billion. Amazon is significantly investing in its AI initiatives, committing about $200 billion in capital expenditures for 2026. This expansion is supported by a triple-digit growth rate in its custom silicon solutions, which are expected to generate more than $10 billion in annual revenue.
