Astera Labs Outpacing AMD in Revenue Growth
Astera Labs (NASDAQ: ALAB) reported a first-quarter revenue of $308.4 million for the period ending March 31, 2026, marking a 93% year-over-year increase. In contrast, Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) posted quarterly revenue of $10.3 billion for the same period, a 38% increase year-over-year. Astera Labs has shown consistent quarter-over-quarter growth over the last eight periods, while AMD’s revenue has shown more fluctuation.
Despite AMD’s substantial revenue lead, the gap is narrowing as Astera Labs forecasts Q2 revenue between $355 million and $365 million in light of increasing demand for AI infrastructure. AMD, meanwhile, anticipates Q2 revenue of $11.2 billion, bolstered by new partnerships with AI firms. Investors should monitor upcoming quarters to see if Astera Labs can maintain its growth trajectory against AMD’s more established revenue scale.
