Ukraine’s economic ministry anticipates planting 4.42 million hectares (10.92 million acres) of corn this spring, contributing to total grain acreage of 6 million hectares (14.83 million acres), an increase of 240,000 hectares from the previous year. Coceral estimates that the corn crop for the UK and EU will reach 60.7 million metric tons (MMT), marking an increase of 1.8 MMT from earlier estimates.
