Corn prices fell by 3 to 4 cents on Thursday, following a rally that saw futures rise by 5 ¼ to 7 ¼ cents the previous day. As of the latest update, the CmdtyView national average cash corn price increased by 6 ¾ cents to $3.90. Trading will conclude for the week today due to Juneteenth holiday.
In the week ending June 12, ethanol production averaged 1.102 million barrels per day, down 6,000 bpd from the previous week, while ethanol stocks increased by 22,000 barrels to 24.474 million barrels. Additionally, the USDA reported new corn sales for the 2025/26 season ranged from 0.7 to 1.4 million metric tons.
