Cotton futures are experiencing gains during Wednesday’s trading session, with October cotton up 100 points at 79.96 cents, December cotton up 44 points at 80.86 cents, and March cotton up 46 points at 82.2 cents. The Cotlook A Index rose by 35 points to reach 88.00 cents on July 20, while ICE certified cotton stocks decreased by 3,565 bales, totaling 94,235 bales as of July 21. Additionally, the Adjusted World Price increased by 3.52 cents last week to 65.37 cents per pound.
Crude oil prices are also on the rise, increasing by $2.06 per barrel, while the US dollar index has declined by 0.036.
