Cotton futures experienced a decline of 11 points on December 2, 2023, with key contracts closing at 62.66 cents/lb for December, 64.46 cents/lb for March, and 65.6 cents/lb for May. Concurrently, crude oil futures rose by 37 cents per barrel to $59.01, while the US dollar index decreased by $0.476 to 98.820.

The online auction on the same date recorded sales of 15,688 bales of cotton at an average price of 61.31 cents/lb. The Cotlook A Index fell by 10 points to 74.95 cents, and ICE certified cotton stocks remained unchanged at 19,894 bales. The Adjusted World Price was updated to 50.77 cents/lb, down 3 points from the previous week.
