Cotton futures are on the rise, gaining 24 to 30 points on Tuesday, with December 25 Cotton at 64.46 (up 30 points), March 26 Cotton at 66.03 (up 26 points), and May 26 Cotton at 67.25 (up 24 points). The US dollar index increased by $0.315 to 98.670, while crude oil prices rose by 27 cents per barrel.

On October 20, an online auction from The Seam recorded the sale of 676 bales, with an average price of 63.45 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index also reported an increase of 55 points, reaching 75.65 cents. ICE certified cotton stocks remained steady at 16,752 bales, though the Average Weekly Price (AWP) is currently unavailable due to the government shutdown.
